Everything style and food are rooted from the women in my family. My grandmother was the inspiration behind this hobby
-- Being Filipino, food has always been a huge part of my life.
Originally, I wanted to attend culinary school but the thought of having a family and financial security led me to go with business school at DePaul University where I majored in marketing. Over time, I realized I didn't have to sacrifice the passion and love I have for cooking and fashion (another unstable profession). The Stylish Eater is a place where y'all can see my personal style and all the things yummy. Every dish is a different outfit (my way of utilizing my closet). It's a side hobby that was in the back burner for quite some time now and in 2020 I needed something to do besides mope, work, and sleep.
If I'm not on here, then that probably means life got way too busy and this side hobby is on pause.
From the typical 9-5 or Cassava Kitchen or just trying to figure out life (you know how it goes).
